Car Skips while turning left

So this is not easy to explain, but from a complete stop in my 99 Pontiac Grand Prix, if I hit the gas too hard while turning left the car basically skips, and kind of makes a very loud rumble sound, also kind of feels like Im running over a couple cinder blocks when this happens and the car kinda stopes like it gets stuck real quick n jumps a little. I can feel and hear all of this is my seat and the steering wheel and the body rattles, and it even happened so bad today that I heard the front left tire squeak kind of like the tire is being locked in place while turning left. Or maybe its the right side Im not sure, but it makes me really nervous when this happens, almost feels as if the tire or something is about to break right off. Someone said it could be my tire catching on the wheel well of something but I see no wear marks. If anyone possiby has any advice that would be great. I know I have a bad front left and rear strut shock assembly. Also I have a bad bushing, cracked in half, on the front driver side strut or tire rod or boot or w.e the guy said, some bushing lol. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I DIE! Lol

I'm not much of a FWD guy but sounds sort of like the actions of wheel hop or a LSD unit not fully unlocking.

Check your CV joints, or have them checked out. The more you turn the wheel, the more pronounced it gets? CV joints will "pop" when they are worn and can actually bind up under load when turning as you describe. HTH!

Thanks for the response, it only happens when making a left turn from a complete stop. Like if I was sitting at a stop sign... It doesnt happen if I hit the gas normally, but if I lay into the gas which I do often because I deliver pizzas, it does the lock up thing which makes the car skip which causes a louuuudd rumble like the wheels locks up lol.

Hey, JHutch, please note that TGO is dedicated to 82-92 F-Bodies. You may be able to find a site more appropriate to your ride.

No; 3rd gen Camaros and Firebirds don't have CV joints.
