Got a 1986 trans am and I recently bought a t56 with all needed to do the swap except for the crossmember. Idk what to get , the guy that I bought the stuff from drag races and told me to get one with the torque arm relocator I wanna go to the strip sometimes but mostly will be my weekend toy . Has the 305 now but thinking of putting either a ls engine or a build 350 not sure yet , my question is the torque arm relocator is needed for a engine pushing what kind of horse power? Can I buy the crossmember with the torque arm relocator but mount the stock torque arm for now? I also got the 4th gen rear with 4.10s from the se guy if that makes a difference. And please let me let me know which brand is good for the money, thanks guys
