Yukon vs Eaton Posi

What are your guy's experience with the Eaton and Yukon LSDs? I've heard great about both and just want to know if one has any advantage to the other. They will be going into a 12 bolt on my car.

Re: Yukon vs Eaton Posi

The Yukon Dura Grip is a copy of the Eaton Posi. Internal parts can be interchanged between them. The Yukon use to be quite a bit cheaper than the Eaton, but now the prices are not that far apart. The main difference between them is the clutch material. The Eaton uses carbon fiber lining on the discs and the Yukon uses a Raybestos material.

Re: Yukon vs Eaton Posi

Love my Eaton Posi Unit.
This is not a 12 bolt but works for my application.

A link to the upgrade. =

Re: Yukon vs Eaton Posi

Also the all steel gear style like the Eaton Truetrac is popular.
Very strong unit.
