How does one set the tv cable on a 700r trans
Hey guys so I got the new engine in my car running and sounds pretty good, it's a gm SP350 by the way, but oddly enough I've noticed that my tv cable is a little long...about 2 inches too long. I switched from a tbi to a carb. The exact carb is a 670cfm holley street avenger carb if that matters. And I know that these things have to be exact and would really love to get this where it needs to be...my question is can some one help me with this, show me how to set one and what it should look like when everything is finished? I know if this cable isn't set right it could result in the trans being destroyed. So if someone does help me and something does happen to the trans. I want you to know I'm not gonna try and blame you or anything like that. The trans will be rebuilt in time, I would just like to be able to drive it before hand on that subject. Any and all help is appreciated greatly! If I happen to leave out any information on the car please let me know!

I'd read and then re-read it. It's a simple adjustment, but if you screw it up you could burn up your trans going around the block.
