Getting ready to change out the transmission fluid in my 700r4 .
Anyone change to Dexron 6 ? Any negative effects ?

 

Yes, I've changed to Dexron VI. There are no negative effects.

 

How long have you been running it ? I have been reading a lot of different options on it.

 

Over 6k miles in an '03 4L60E which was originally spec'ed for Dexron III.

I would have no concerns with putting it in the 700R4 in the Camaro or in the 4T60 in my '92 Lumina.

I'm talking real Dex VI. Not some atf that claims it's equivalent to Dex VI.
