Casting numbers on a T5
Just bought a T5 on Craigslist. Opened it up, a couple of banged up syncros but otherwise ok. I need some help identifying it. It has brass syncros, so I'm inclined to say it's a NWC. I was told it came out of an 88' Camaro, but it couldn't have been stock, the casting dates are all 84'. The numbers I pulled from it match Ford numbers on another site, but it has the bolt pattern of a GM. The numbers are 13-52-027-912 (front bearing retainer), 13-52-065-909 (side of case), and 13-52-066-923. Can someone clear this up for me?

Casting number won't tell you much. The decal on top of some inspection covers and the metal tag bolted to a tailhousing bolt have the actual service tag. for the trans.
13-52-066-923 is NWC (as are brass rings.)
The Muncie pattern kind of assures it's GM.
If the input is 26 spline and the bearing retainer relatively short, it could be an 83-87 F-body V8 T5.
