Hey everyone,

Just put new bearings and seals in. Installed the bearing as far as the shoulder inside the axle tube - no worries there.

But I think I installed the seal a little too far as per the picture. I discovered after installing that it should be flush with the tube and not recessed - I installed the seal as far as they would go. Am I going to have to remove the seal and install a new one?

 

There is an inner and outer lip edge on the inner face of the seal.

If both are on smooth axle surface, you're good.
