PROBUILT,TRANSFIXLEO,or anyone who knows:TC lockup without ecm

I pulled out the ecm when I swapped in my current motor.I still have the 700r4 with a 2500 stall lockup converter.Which wires on the tranny harness are the ones I need to lock up the converter with a switch? My mileage sucks as it is,so I would like to lock up the converter since I do a lot of highway driving. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, if you have the original connector, you can pop the shell open to see the markings. They're pretty small though.

You don't even have to touch it if you don't want to, even without the ECM you can still put a switch in the wires to the ALDL under the dash.

Use the GM vacuum switch PN 14014519 & GM connecter PN 12102606. Install the vacuum switch on the fire wall and a vacuum hose to a true vacuum source. Hook one wire to the battery (use resistor wire) & the other to the "A" pin in the plug at the transmission, it is the outer pin in the plug toward the front of the vehicle. You might have to make a ground, install it then see if its needed. Make sure engine/transmission is itself grounded to the frame with a strap.
