On your dualgate, have you got it backlit? It says it's lit in the next gen catalogue but mine clearly isn't?!?

 

No, the console version isn't lit. They're talking about the universal fit one.

 

That's a shame... I removed the chrome slider for the 2nd gate on mine as it rattled like a grandfather reading a porno and I lost my reversing lights too. I think we have had the converstaion about the graphics on the shifter coming off easily!

Also the ashtray becomes a problem doesn't it. Have you stil got yours?

 

The chrome cover on mine has never rattled, and my car rides hard and vibrates. Are you sure it hasn't popped out of its track, and the spring is on it properly?

I had to take the plastic ashtray out, but I think an older metal one might fit. I haven't tried it though. Having a functional ashtray is hardly a priority for me.
