I recently removed some 4.10's from a 85 s-10 10 bolt.Got the whole carrier but it is not posi.
My camaro has a 3.23 ratio.(non posi)
Can i just swap out center sections and use these 4.10's?

 

It depends on what year camaro you have. The S-10 parts you have are for use with 26 spline axles. I think they changed to 28 spline sometime in 1988 on all 7.5 an 7 5/8 rears.
Either way you should be able to use just the gears, I have an auburn posi in my '87 S-10 and it says for use with 2.73 and up gears, I have 3.73's on it. So, according to them, I could use 4.10's on it also, it should be the same series as both of yours.
So yes, they should fit.

What year did the 4.10's come from. I need to updadte my s10 info, was it a 4x4 blazer or a 2wd blazer.

SSC,i believe the truck was a 84 or 85.
It was a 2wd with a 4 cyl manual trans.
The parts truck was missing the RPO sticker but with the manual trans it had i was expecting 3.73's.
Not the case with this one.
I had to think for a second after i got the cover off......stamped 9:37.So let me see,9 goes into 37, 4.10 times.I'll take em

 

3.08 and down is a 2 series carrier
3.23 and up is a 3 series carrier. With stock 4.10's you will need a 3 series carrier.
