T5 shifter replacement questions

I am going to replace the shifter in my car with another stock one because the original one was butchered. Are there any instructions on how to do this? Any maintenance items I can do while I have it off such as, shifter bushing, and shifter fork? Any help is appreciated.

Unbolt the stock shifter 4 bolts, remove and replace shifter of your choice. You can replace the shift cup, upper and lower boot while at it.

Re: T5 shifter replacement questions

The shift bushing in a T5 is okay to replace with out epoxy, but use some adhesive if you have some. I like the stock nylon type. Forks are internal.

I'm new to this. Does the epoxy go on the ball on the bottom of the shifter?

Underside of the new bushing. It seats in the machined block lever.
