I ordered a bunch of stuff from rock auto and ordered up one from them made by "brute force". It seemed to be a huge POS and I returned it.
Whats everyone using. Is it worth paying 100 plus for a national bearing?

"Brute Force" is a trademark of Borg-Warner. Nothing wrong with that.
The TOB in that system usually comes as part of the clutch; not a separate piece like traditional "push" style clutches. I don't recall how it would even be possible to replace in the field but it's been awhile since I last looked at mine.
I doubt a National (Federal-Mogul) bearing will be significantly different in any material way.

They are deffinately available as a single unit. The brute force bearing is a product of china, not sure it's a born warner piece.
The tranny came with a used centerforce tob. The quality is noticable different between the two.
Next time your at autzone have them pull one, I wouldn't put the thing in my lawn mower
I'd like to see how you take a throughout bearing out of a LT1 T-56 clutch....it's permanently installed on the diaphragm last time I checked

It is retained with a round steel wire spring clip. Not my pic.
