Well awile ago the speedo acted funny that was when i had a automatic in the car then i swiched it over to manual and i dont think i kept the gear from the automatic i think i used the speedo gear from the manual im not sure becuase it dident strike me that it would make a diffrance .. well the speedo dident work after the swap it bounced allover the place now it dosent move at all

so im guessing my gear, cable & or gauge is toasted is there a way to get the proper gear for my car ? and replacement cable or way to test whats wrong i was thinking about getting a electronic gage throw a VSS in and buy a autometer electronic speedo .. anyone have ideas of the best way to go? ect....
