Car: '91 RS vert
Engine: mild TBI 305
Axle/Gears: 3.43 pos
4th gen 10bolt?
decided to go bigger tires,brakes, and gear ratio
Swapping in a 4th gen rear end.
Decided on a '98-'02, 3.42, posi rear end. Not as rare as the 3.73s
Found '00 one with all the right RPO codes GU6, G80, appears unmolested
On inspection looks good, but does not turn the axles as a posi
Question; Do the later geared posi units behave different? worn out?
Car is a V6, unmolested, and not modified by previous owner
