Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: Stock 10 bolt w/posi 3.90 gears
Liberty tko 600 faceplated with pro 5.0 shifter??
Hey guys I need your advise quick before I make a decision!! So I found a tko 600 on Craigslist two states away from me and it has under 500 miles on it. The guy bought it new from liberty gears. It is faceplated and has the pro 5.0 shifter minus the handle. He had a 500 hp motor in front of it and it was street only. I think we have come up with price at 2100 shipped to me. He paid 3000 for it. Is it worth it?? Thanks!!

My own personal experience is plan to rebuild when it comes to used engines and transmissions, so that translates into buying at a price point like you're going to rebuild it. Just my thoughts after multiple bad experiences.

Pass on it. My buddy bought the exact setup for his fox body mustang for $1300 used. At that price just buy a T56 and enjoy the double overdrive.

I bought a supposedly 2000 mile tko 500. It was torn up inside and I ended up rebuilding it. I could have bought a brand new one for what I have in it. At least I didn't go over the price of New but I def had more frustration than if I had just bought new. Pass on it.
