I'm looking to swap out my old worn but still functional auto trans for another auto trans or maybe a 5 speed when my current transmission gives out. Question? Can I yank one out of a 93-95 3.4 v6? I'm assuming its the same trans for the auto. Basically take out old and stick in newer, plug and play same thing right. 5 speed would be different of course.

I believe that those will be E transmissions (4L60E). Will need a controller to run it. Although it will bolt up without issues.

Passenger car 1993 models were a 4L60 without the E, and had different TCC wiring. The VSS may differ, too.
1993-up truck and 1994-up car versions were the 4L60E. Controller required.
