89 RS Transmission Mount Issue

Hey Guys. I’m having trouble finding a aftermarket 2.8 Camaro 1989 RS manual transmission mount.

The local shop tells me it’s circular , but everyone that comes up is a rectangle.

Do you guys have any experience with this? I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for them to fabricate me something that would work.

Transmission: T5 NWC/700r4

Axle/Gears: 4th Gen 10bolt

Ive seen 2 different types of tranny mounts on 3rd gens usually v6 have the 2 piece crossmember with round bushings.

There are three crossmembers. The one piece with the typical mount, the two piece crossmember with the typical mount, then there's a one piece crossmember with the fluid filled mount. The easiest solution for both of the oddball crossmembers is to get the typical one piece crossmember and typical mount.

I have the Energy Suspension POLY ROUND mount (1 box), don't know if 1 or 2 are required. Had it for 20+ years NEVER OPENED. I would hope the 1 box contains both pieces to do 1 crossmember. I will verify tonight.

Edit: I do have Energy Suspension p/n 3.1109G (black).
