Haven't had much success finding what I'm looking for with the search feature..


I'm gathering up stuff for a T56 swap in my '88 IROC, and didn't realize that the outer clamshell for the torque arm mount is missing. The arm base is on the transmission, but the outer portion is missing.


Is the outer clamshell from my original torque arm mount on my T5 the same/can be used, or am I going to have to find an outer clamshell specifically for a T56?

 

T5 and T56 torque arm mounts are the same, but there is a catch.... The two designs of torque arms. As long as the mount from your T5 worked with your existing torque arm, it'll still work with the T56.

 

Perfect...exactly what I was thinking, but wasn't sure about.
