Powerglide shifter in Firebird
Just wondering what people are using for PG shifters ?
Any pics of the shifter?
I would like to retain some of my stock interior if possible..

Why would anyone want to run a Powerglide? Is it a track only car?

Street/strip
No way a th350 would hold my power range, then nitrous on top.
I planning on being in the 8's next year.
Plus, a PG has a lower numeric 1st gear.
You'd blow through 1st with a th350 (never hold the traction)
In saying that, I have buddies running th400's , but they start in 2nd gear. No way you can use 1st gear
