Abbott Cable X, or Dakota Digital ECD-100-2?

All;

I'm swapping a T56 in place of my T5. I'm considering using the box that allows the VSS to drive a speedometer cable.

Abbott Cable X is one choice, but Dakota Digital makes a similar product, the ECD-100-2.

The Dakota is quite a bit less expensive ($50.00), but if the Abbott is superior, I have no problem spending the extra $$.

Thoughts on which is best?

You can always have it modified for a cable drive.

I considered that, but would prefer not modifying the transmission.
