MiROC_89

Bought an 89 IROC from transmission shop that had been left by owner. Supposedly it had a fresh rebuild before landing in my hands. 2yrs later I have her ready to hit the road but when I put it in any gear, it's like I didn't move from park, then start a to slowly catch an roll slowly. It's set for the two years without being driven I was wondering if this could have something to do with what I'm talking about and what I could do about rectifying it.

Sounds like torque converter drain back (common in Mopar 727's). Let it warm up for a few minutes to get the air out of the torque converter. Check oil level in the transmission after it has warmed up and see where it's at.
