tranny breakin

just got my tranny rebuilt was wonder if there was a break in period and if there is what should i do after that period ??

Yes there is. First off, hopefully the bulder presoaked the frictions in oil or you may already have the beginnings of glazing on your brand new clutches. Next you should always let the tranny get up to normal temps before you nail it. Lastly, for the first day I would do allot of light throttle 1-2-3-4 shift patterns, allowing it to slow back down to first and repeat. this helps the frictions and steels to 'seat' together for optimum contact. then you can start adding more throttle on tis pattern until you get to WOT.
