So I've got an 82 trans am with the 4 speed. And when I put it in reverse it stays in reverse even if I put the shifter in neutral. And even if I put the clutch all the way to the floor it doesnt coast like its in neutral like all the other gears do, but at the same time it doesn't start moving in reverse until I hit the friction zone in the clutch, weird right? I come to a complete stop and put it in 4th or 3rd and then neutral in order to get it out of reverse gear. Any ideas what could be causing it to stick?
