my cousin has a 78 camaro with a engine that is so damn unbeleivably modified it aint funny hes got 2 4 bbl mounted on the top of it its pushing around 700 to 800 hp. hes had 3 transmissions built and put in it when hes on the line and slams it to the floor it rings every band and gear in the transmission out how can he fix this prob.

 

What kind of trans is he using?

People build automatics for some extremely powerful cars. They can easily be made to withstand as much torque and horsepower as a Lenco or other racing manual trans. Maybe he should find somebody else to build them for him.
