FreddyBrown tranny,(non lockup Q)

i have a freddy brown 2004r, trans quality is great, just wondering, i have the non lockup version, can i use a lockup converter on it with the non lock trans? i dont want the locking feature, but i dont feel like buyin a non lockup converter.
the way it is now, when i put it in gear it chirps the tires and stalls like the converter is locked all the time,

thanks

You can't use a lock up converter on a trans converted for a non lock up. The way the fluid flows is different and will keep it locked up all the time until the damper springs in the clutch break. You need a non lock up converter.
