My governor gear broke off inside the housing, and after four hours of trying to fish it out, I have to remove the tail shaft extension, driveshaft, etc. and try to remove the broken gear. It is lodged in such a position that I can’t insert the new governor gear assembly, so I have to get the broken piece out first. If anyone else has been through this and has any useful tips I would appreciate advice very much!
