Daaco torque converter
I was wondering about this brand of torque converter. I’m currently rebuilding my transmission and am looking for a decent replacement. My original lasted 200k, I’m not looking to race I only have a very mild cam with shorty headers and 3:42 gears, open element air cleaner

Re: Daaco torque converter
I guess I hear a lot of horror stories online of Daaco converters blowing up and sending gunk throughout the transmission. I really don’t have the time or money to rebuild the thing twice.

Re: Daaco torque converter
But right now is the perfect excuse to upgrade to about a 2500 rpm stall and make the car more enjoyable to drive.
Re: Daaco torque converter
I can help you out here with an Edge 12" diameter torque converter, with a 2,500 rpm stall. They come with a 2 year warranty. They go for $375.00, including delivery. let me know.
