HI i am in the process of removing my 4 speed shifter out of my 82 T/A, and replacing it with a hurst. I just have a few questions about removing it. i know how it connections to the rods underneath. is this where i disconnect it from? or are there bolts around the shifter it self to remove. i spent about a hour under my car trying to decide where she comes off from. besides from the bolts being very awkard to get at.. i want to make sure i'm removing the right ones.. if any one has any imput about removing this shifter please message,
