bad size on transmission mount

Hello,I recently bought a transmission mount .... the model was mentioned on the rockauto site... Ok for my firebird trans am GTA 1987, TH700...

https://www.rockauto.com/fr/moreinfo...51414&jsn=1536

but after and the size is not correct, it is not really in line and it impossible to remplace the old mount....

central axis is not at the same distance from the 2 other holes compared to the old mount, that doesn't work .. why ? if someone have the same version of car ... ?

there are the energy suspension that would seem the best, better price, but some persons have problems of vibration with them... I hesite.

Energy, Prothane, etc. I have never noticed any vibration difference. It's a sports car - who cares anyway?

Re: bad size on transmission mount

The pictured part is wrong, there are a couple oddball mounts these cars used, part of a 2pc mount and a hydraulic mount. Search a later year and you should find a proper fitting piece.
