7.5" 10 bolt rear end help

I have a 1988 iroc z, 305 tpi, T5 with disc brakes. I'm having problems determining the correct rear u joint for the driveshaft. I have gathered that the u joint is a conversion joint, 3rn to 1330 or 1350. I do know that my pinion gear is a 27 spline, is there a way to install a 3rn yoke onto my differential so that a conversion is not needed? If not is there a more robust strap set I could purchase for the existing yoke? This car is all original and will stay that way so having a u joint that can handle more horsepower is unnecessary. I threw a u joint cap when I was driving and would like to not do that again.

Re: 7.5" 10 bolt rear end help

That's an unusual failure. I would just fix it with stock parts and move on rather than trying to beef up something that's not normally a failure point on a stock vehicle. I can only surmise that the u-joint was failing and loosened the strap somehow, or it wasn't properly installed during some repair.
