trans leak

Hey all,
just picked up an 85 z28 with a 700r4. we ran it for about 4 months this summer to have zero leaks, once it started to get cold out the leak started. It is coming from the 2 bottom pump bolts. my question is do the bolts have o-rings and washers or nothing but torque to hold them in...

thanks

jake

Yes, there's rubber o-rings around the pump bolts.

Re: trans leak

Sure, you can replace the o-rings on those bolts. As long as they clear the converter. There's a washer and o-ring used on each bolt.
