What upgrades and mods for a 700R4 behind a 325hp 350?
I have searched.
As a minimum, what is recommended as an upgrade and modification for these transmissions? It is just behind a mild small block.
Thanks.

With a 3.42 axle ratio, I'd get a 2500 rpm converter in there. You'll likely end up at around 2200 with the torque from that engine, which should be perfect. It'll drive like stock until you nail the gas.

Corvette servo. Made a HUGE improvement to mine.

As long as the transmission still in working order. The Street/Strip TransGo Modified Shift kit will give you everything you want here. The 12" diameter 2,400 - 2,500 rpm stall torque converter from Edge would be the one to use here. If you drive aggressive to very aggressive, then you would want the 9.5" diameter torque converter, with a 2,400 to 2,800 rpm stall from Edge. They both come with a two year warranty. Depending on how you drive, what the stall and diameter of the torque converter is, and the rear end gear ratio, is how I set these kits up to be smooth at part throttle, and the shifts getting quicker and firmer with more throttle. This kit has the ability to hold any gear to any rpm. Or just leave in overdrive or drive and go. Very user friendly. The kit comes with the Corvette servo, larger boost valves, late 1993 design pressure regulator valve, pre-drilled separator plate, new second accumulator housing with hardened pin, Torlon checkballs, etc. Let me know if I can be of help here.
