Dana is supposed to be building me a 700r4. The timeline was mid march. I haven't heard from him since Feb. 3.

He was last online Feb 24. I have sent him a email and left a message.

I hope all is well. Has anyone heard from him lately?

 

First off, He is awesome! I send people to him all the time!

He always responds once he has news to provide you.

Generally if he does not have anything new to say, or report that progress has occurred, then he won;t reply, until he has new information/ news for you.

 

Dana is a night owl, I always have the best luck calling him late afternoon. He will even answer his phone late at night, usually when he is in his shop building. Just be persistent with calling, even multiple times per day.

yup. Dana likes to work later in the day and into the night time so I usually have had success calling him at night. He is in California too, so take into account the time-zone differences.

 

Dana did my 70R4 back in September 2021. He is a great guy and builds an awesome transmission. Yes, sometimes it can be hit or miss when calling but he will get back to you.

Dana is a great guy. He'll talk to anybody.

Emphasis on TALK. He prefers a phone call and a conversation, to texts or IM or whatever. Pick up the phone and CALL. Leave him a voice mail if he doesn't answer the first time. Then be patient. Don't be a jerk any kind of way, butt, CALL. That's how he likes to do business.
