Lakewood Bellhousing Question

Anyone know if this is a mount for an external slave? This is Lakewood LK4000 for LS/SBC I was going to use this Bellhousing to install a TKX into my car but that ear hits the trans tunnel. I plan on internal slave so I have no use for it and thought about grinding it down and massaging the tunnel a bit.

Re: Lakewood Bellhousing Question

It is an alternate z-bar inner ballstud location. Some truck use.
Early third gens and most passenger cars used the engine block for the inner ballstud.
it is not needed.

Re: Lakewood Bellhousing Question

Trimmed off a small piece and it fits perfectly now with no interference.
