9 bolt borg warner rearend with a spacer?
I'm struggling to find a 3.27 or higher ratio borg warner 9-bolt rearend. I have a 2.77 which is a series 2. Has anyone ever used a series 2 case with a series 3 gear set by using a spacer? I'd be looking for measurements, primarily thickness.
There's a classified ad by Copchaser for a 3.27, but I can't respond because my account has such few posts. I'm in Denver, but would drive 10 hours if there's a rearend available, or pay shipping.

If your 2 series carrier has miles, consider the torsen swap.
