Engine: 350

Transmission: TH700

Will this TH700 fit in my 91' Z-28

I have a chance to get a Th700 from a friend's dad in exchange for a case of beer. He said it's from an 85 S-10 and rebuilt only 2000 miles ago. I'm not sure if it will fit? I'm looking for something to work on. Can someone explain the 27 or 30 spline? Is that for the converter side or the driveshaft side? Any info on putting an early model TH700 into a 91'?

What engine are you talking about? If it is not a 2.8L it will not bolt up. It also does not have as good of internals as the '91. For a case of beer it would be worth getting and precticing on though.
