ia this gonna be a problem?

I am getting ready to drop my New crate engine and wanted to change the transmission front seal behind torque converter. I watched videos and researched and then drilled small pilot hole and threaded a screw but couldn't get the seal out. SO, I used a flat head and chisel but nicked the part around shaft. there is a small chip, is this gonna be a problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Not really sure what part you have exactly nicked, the pump or the stator shaft, but in both cases you should be good. If you nicked the pump where the seal sits, it could start weeping oil. Don't see a problem with a small nick on the stator shaft in this area, except if it's on the splines. A pic could help here.

its the "hub" around the input shaft (on top of where the seal would sit, inner most part . trying to upload a pic, (IF it went thru, you can see the chip in lower middle left side and another near the top same side.) I REALLY APPRECIATE any feedback, sorry for my lack of correct terms.
