TV cable fitment issue inside the trans!

Trans shop called me to say the universal cable that was on the car was garbage. Looked like it had been forced in and someone had put sealant around it.

Ordered a new cable which is like a factory replacement one. Hes called me again to say this cable doesn't fit in either. It's slightly too wide where the seal is???

Spoke to a few friends who have used this same pioneer cable with no issues at all! Apparently its a really tight fit but it went in there. But the guy doing mine say it will not fit at all.

What the hell could be wrong?? The actual opening on the trans itself?

Stop using that factory garbage and get this cable:
https://shiftworks.com/collections/c...ro-shift-cable

I haven't bought a cable since this one.

We are talking about a TV cable here, not a shift cable...

All aftermarket TV cables are pure junk. I've tried a few and they all suck. I always stick with good used originals or search NOS GM cables.
