What stall torque converter should I use?
just got a rebuilt 700r4 to replace my old one but it still has the stock converter in it, the guy I bought it from said that it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a new one while its still out. So I figured I do that, but I'm not sure what to put in it. It has the the stock carbureted 305, and stock rear differential gears. I always hated how absolutely slow acceleration was on it but I don't wanna go bonkers on a new converter as I'm trying to make it a somewhat reliable daily. anyone have recommendations as to what I should get? also should I get a corvette servo while I'm at it? I don't know much, but from what I hear its a good upgrade.
