If you spec out that rear on hawks its more than 1k more. I think that is very fair.

I should of said for a used one, but thanks for the reply. That pumpkin looks like it would hit the gas tank.

I have one that I have been trying to sell locally. one of 4 rears I had fabricated locally. 2 of them in vehicles already. Has a new posi and gear set but needs axles and brakes for 1500. Not much interest cause its not assembled I assume.

Id rather have a dana 44 for ease of installation, but if my fab skills were as good as yours, id have something better than a 9 bolt. Excellent work, you make your jig too?

Re: 8.8 for 3rd gen.. Whats it worth?

A friend at a local fabrication shop built them for me and another member on here. He has a jig and a machined rod so everything is true. Its a direct bolt in. The center of the 8.8 in my 84 TA is from a mustang and 28 spline. The axle tubes are original 10 bolt from an fbody. The other 8.8 im selling is 31 spline and from a truck, but again with fbody axle tubes. It doesnt hit the tank or anything. no issues.
