Can anyone identify the large hex plug on the underside of the power steering rack. See pic.
I have a modified car with mostly 1990’s GM parts including the power steering.
Is this bolt for adjusting the the operation of the rack and pinion or is it a fluid drain.
I need to flush the system and cannot find any reliable info whether this set up has a drain or whether flushing must be done using the low pressure return line.
