4L60 Flywheel Cover
Hi,
My 92 Camaro is missing the flywheel cover, and I'm still hoping to avoid shipping something so awkward, but having trouble finding it locally. I've been looking through TGO, but no help.
I have a stock L03, stock fw, stock tc, and stock 4L60. Before I go digging through junkyards, I have four questions about it:
I. According to https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-cover-trans-conv-10186848.html, 91 used the same cover as 92 (and a few other models). But do other 3rd-gens also fit, even if they're not exactly identical?
II. Do other SBCs also fit the bolt pattern etc., other than F-bodies? Does it just depend on the transmission?
III. Can I just find a good picture of it, and trim something to match it?
IV. How likely am I, really, to dent the fw on a big rock or something without it?
Thanks for your help!

92 would have been plastic, so very good chance. any 700r4 should be interchangeable. Where are you located? I have one with all four mounts intact near tampa, fl.

I'm off in the Texas panhandle. Do you trust anyone to ship something like that?
Re: 4L60 Flywheel Cover
There always the aftermarket route.

I'd certainly trust Summit to ship it.
