700r4 V8 to V6 swap questions
Alright so I’m relatively new to owning a 3rd gen
I have an 89’ Firebird 2.8 V6 with a 700r4
recently I lost 3rd and 4th so I’m lookin for another 700r4.
I found one that came from a car that had a 350lt in it (what I was told), would this bolt up to my V6 engine?
If not what specifically do i need to look for when finding a 700r4 that’ll fit?

It will not. You need to find a 700 with the V6 bellhousing/bolt pattern/flange.
