How to adjust the linkage

So I have a 700R4 with an aftermarket B&M shifter that a previous owner put in. I have noticed that the linkage isn't set right. Park is null, reverse is park, neutral is reverse, etc. I've also noticed that the shifter is really stiff, it takes more force to move it to a different gear than I'd like. How would I adjust these issues?

Re: How to adjust the linkage

Some installers use all B&M parts from handle to shift spindle lever. Some don't. I would start with looking for a PDF of the B&M manual. I bought a car with their Sport? shifter already installed and despite using the B&M lever on the closer hole, only had PRND32 or RND321.
