I've searched and havnt found a real answer. Maybe because it's a no brainer lol.
Could i use a 2000-2006 truck 4l60e with etheir a umi or spohn crossmember and torque arm without changing the tail houseing? Or do I still need the tail houseing mount and it ties into the crossmember mount? Or does it need to be swapped due to trans mount location? Thx again. I emailed both spohn and umi but havnt heard back yet but probably because it's thr wknd.

If the torque arm mount is relocated from the transmission to the crossmember, you can use any tail housing you want; as long as it bolts up, and doesn't interfere somehow with the relocated TA mount.

You'll have to ask them. Looks like definitely maybe, could even be perhaps positively, butt could also be not. Especially since the transmission in the photo is a F body 4L60E. Seems though, as long as the distance from the BH flange to the transmission mount is within its tolerance, should work.

Ya i will. Both descriptions say it was designed useing fbody 4l60e. Was hoping someone had some first hand experience.

I used that exact crossmember with a 700R4. Know it's not a 4L60E, but the case and mounting are pretty similar.

Was impressed with the quality and it fit perfectly. Set up for a slip-fit or clamshell style torque arm, instead of the shackle type, and good exhaust clearance.

No, it's an F-body 700.
