4l60 new tailhousing

I have a 91 Camaro with the 4l60 transmission and my tailhousing has a crack where the rear seal is seated.
So fluid runs out between the seal and the housing.
I saw new housings with a needle bearing instead of the factory bushing type.
is it worth the money? Or should I stay with a bushing housing for my stock engine?
I don't want to spend money for a used old housing and better get a new.

Not worth it. Get a used one and put a new bushing in it.
