Probably a dumb question

So I'm about to get my hands on a 1994 GMC Suburban 1500 to gut out and fix up my 1984 Camaro Berlinetta. I was wondering if the differential gears from the suburban could bolt into my Camaros diff. The covers look exactly the same but I want to be sure before ripping things apart.

Re: Probably a dumb question

No.

The truck has a 8½" 10-bolt. Your car has a 7½" 10-bolt. Same # of cover bolts, same construction, butt very different parts inside.

Additionally, used gears are a no-no.
