How to connect shifter cable

Hi I have an 1989 iroc with a 700r4

does anyone have any pictures of there shifter cable to the tranny shifter lever??

im not sure how the lever bolts onto the shifter cable. I have attached a few photos of what I’ve got. It previously had a B&M shifter cable and I’m reverting it to factory. I was going to just run a nut and bolt through them but realized I cannot do that because when the lever is all the way…see photos…it’s beside the pan so that doesn’t work. Now I need to know how the cable connects to the lever. I looked at the Haynes manual for photos however they are not clear

Re: How to connect shifter cable

You need the factory shift lever on the transmission. The picture shows the B&M part still there.
