Biggest Converter I can tow with...
Well, I want to go to an aggressive cam, but dont want to be sluggish off the line. The problem is that I will tow with the Trans Am. Its a small bass tracker, but I go fishing at least 3 times a week and tow enough to worry about a higher stall converter. Do I need to keep stock or can I upgrade to a bigger one? I am running 3.23 posi gears in the back.
And for you guys who think im stupid, I tow with the camaro currently, and my excuse for getting the trans am was "mom, i need it to tow with." The camaro struggles up hills, but handles the boat amazingly well. Boat only weighs 1200 fully rigged, and the f-bodies have a 2000lb tow rating.

I carry the A.C.T. 12" lockup torque converter that is fully furnaced brazed with apx. 1,800 rpm stall that sells for $220.00 plus shipping. It comes with a one year warranty. If I can answer any questions please call or email me.
