Th350 specialty tools
I know that special tools are needed for rebuilding trannys. So what tools are needed, and where can I get them from. Sears, Snap-on, matco, ect. I feel its time to learn how to do my own rebuilds.

The only "specialty" tool that you'll need for a TH350 is a special compressor for the low/reverse clutch. You can easily fabricate something to work. Other than that you only need snap ring pliers, a couple of 5" c-clamps, torque wrench etc.
Buy the book on rebuilding the tranny first. It will show you everything you need to know. It's published by HPBooks and is called Turbo Hydra-matic 350 Handbook.
